Overview
A lightweight system for ideas that arrive in motion
CapMind is a personal memo system built around fast capture and later review. The project treats notes as small working objects rather than polished documents, so the product shape is optimized for getting an idea out quickly and returning to it when there is more context.
Role
Product design, interface design, and implementation.
Surface
Web experience with companion Apple surfaces.
Focus
Low-friction capture, durable storage, and clean review flows.
Context
The tool is designed for interruption-heavy workflows
Most notes are not written in a calm writing environment. They happen between other tasks, inside conversations, or while switching devices. The design constraint for CapMind is to keep capture close to the user without making the archive noisy or difficult to return to.
That pushed the project toward small interactions, predictable sync behavior, and views that make recent thinking easy to scan.
Artifact
The public project remains a living build
Reflection
The hardest part is keeping capture simple without hiding structure
The useful version of this project is not the one with the most organization. It is the one where structure appears only when it helps the next action: writing, finding, grouping, or returning to a thought.
